One of the things I enjoy most about being a pet photographer is getting to volunteer my services to help dogs and cats find homes. The impact of good photos on adoption rates can not be understated. Below is an infographic summarizing a study done by Mary Woods at the University of Richmond. In her survey 64% of adopters said online photos were extremely or very important in their decision to adopt a dog.
